#WalangPasok – Class suspensions for August 3 2017
(UPDATED, 1:00 PM)
Parts of Luzon are still likely to experience occasional heavy monsoon rains this Wednesday, August 3, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA). The weather bureau specifically warned Metro Manila, as well as Bulacan, Cavite, and Rizal for possible flash floods.
This has prompted Mayor Kit Nieto of Cainta, Rizal to once more suspend classes in all levels in his constituency. It is possible that other local government units will also announce class cancelations for their respective areas.
It can be recalled that a lot of areas had no classes, sometimes for all levels, from Wednesday to Saturday last week because of the enhanced monsoon rains triggered by tropical storm “Gorio.” The Filipino Scribe will update this post if and when new information becomes available.
