#WalangPasok – Class suspensions for July 11 2016 due to monsoon rains
Typhoon “Butchoy” (international name “Nepartak”) is already in southern China, but parts of western Luzon can still expect heavy rains due to the enhanced southwest monsoon or habagat.
According to the 5PM weather bulletin for July 10 of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), monsoon rains will be experienced over the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, and Pangasinan. Meanwhile, occasional rains can be expected over CALABARZON, Ilocos region, and Central Luzon. Metro Manila, for its part, can expect cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.
Because of that, classes in certain areas are suspended for July 11, 2016 (Monday). This post will be updated as soon as new information becomes available:

*A reminder to college students: If it is extremely difficult for you to come to class because of heavy rains or flash floods in your respective area, keep in mind Memorandum #15 (series of 2012) of the Commission on Higher Education.
It states: “Students who are unable to report to class or participate in scheduled activities such as exams due to inclement weather shall be given consideration and be allowed to make up for the missed class or activity.”
