Sarah Lahbati, Richard Gutierrez, and their baby Zion
Ending months of speculations, celebrity couple Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati confirmed separately this Sunday night that they already have a baby.
Gutierrez made the confession through the reality show “It Takes Gutz To Be A Gutierrez” which is aired over E! Channel.
The 30-year-old heartthrob said: “A lot of people think that Sarah left the country because we are having a baby and she’s pregnant. I just want to set the record straight and tell everyone that I’m a proud father of baby Zion.”
“We didn’t want to make Sarah’s pregnancy a tabloid circus. We want to share baby Zion to everyone on our own terms,” he further explained.
According to him, he became aware of Lahbati’s pregnancy when they went to Paris, France for a vacation after the airing of their primetime drama series “Makapiling Kang Muli.” The show ran from June to September 2012.
Shortly following his revelation on national TV, Lahbati took to Instagram to also acknowledge baby Zion. “(I’m) extremely happy to announce the new member of our family,” the 20-year-old actress wrote.
The picture shows Lahbati clasping the hand of her child. Media organizations are expected to try to outdo each other in the coming weeks to have exclusive rights for the publication of the baby’s photos.

The couple didn’t specify Zion’s birth date, but it can be estimated that he was born around June or July 2013.
