BJ Albert is Nikki Gil’s new boyfriend
TV host and actress Nikki Gil finally has a new boyfriend, almost a year after her high-profile breakup with fellow entertainer Billy Crawford. In an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine last December, Gil hinted that the former international celebrity cheated on her.
A reliable source confirmed to The Filipino Scribe (TFS) that the new man in the singer’s life is indeed young entrepreneur BJ Albert. The source, who is identified with the Alberts, requested that her identity be withheld because she is not authorized to speak on the subject.
As indicated in his Facebook page, Albert is a psychology graduate from the Ateneo de Manila University (batch 2007). He finished high school from De La Salle Zobel in 2003.
The two had been the subject of speculations since Gil admitted last February that she is dating again. At that time, Gil merely described Albert as a “29-year-old guy with an adult job.” She also pointed out that she and her suitor have a lot of mutual friends.
BJ Albert is the son of Cris and Butch Albert, the couple managing FILA Philippines. The tandem marked their 20th wedding anniversary early this year (read this article from the Philippine Daily Inquirer).
