#WalangPasok – Class suspensions for April 11 2024

Various local government executives around the country have announced the suspension of face-to-face classes for 11 April 2024, Thursday, because of extreme heat.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported the start of the warm and dry season in the Philippines late last month. The agency added that different parts of the country will experience heat index of above 42°C starting from 10:00 AM, and this temperature is already characterized as dangerous.
The Filipino Scribe will be updating this post if and when other local government units and education institutions make similar announcements.
ALL LEVELS:
Bulacan – public and private schools, until April 13
Negros Oriental – public and private schools, until lifted
Saranggani – Until April 19
Sultan Kudarat – Until April 15
Parts of Cebu –
