#WalangPasok – Class suspensions for January 2 2024

There will still be no classes in all public preschool, elementary, and high schools nationwide this 2 January 2024, Tuesday. This is in accordance with Department of Education (DepEd) order #22-2023, which contains the official calendar for school year 2023-2024.

The document was signed by Vice President and concurrent Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio last August. This remains unchanged despite the announcement of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. that 2 January 2024, Tuesday, will be a regular day.
