(UPDATED, 12:25 AM)

Significant parts of the country will still be experiencing inclement weather because of the southwest monsoon which is being enhanced by tropical depression “Gener.”

As of 11:00 PM, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration or PAGASA reported that “Gener” was last spotted over the coastal waters of Palanan, Isabela (16.9°N, 122.9°E).

“Gener” is projected to make landfall in the vicinity of Isabela or Aurora tonight or tomorrow early morning and barnstorm northern Luzon throughout Tuesday. PAGASA added that “Gener” likely emerge over the coastal waters of Ilocos Sur, La Union, or Pangasinan within the day. As of Monday night, much of Luzon has been placed under signal #1.
