LOOK: Isko Moreno appears to mock Honey Lacuna over delayed class suspension announcement
Former Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso appeared to mock his successor and erstwhile ally Sheilah “Honey” Lacuna-Pangan over her inability to suspend classes in the city for September 2, Monday, despite the yellow rainfall warning raised in Metro Manila by Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
“It’s been raining in Manila, hindi pa ba nag su-suspend?” Domagoso posted on his Facebook account, satirizing the song “Raining in Manila” by popular group Lola Amour. As of 2:00 AM, Manila is one of just four local government units in Metro Manila with no announcement of class suspension yet together with Makati and Pateros.
Domagoso’s social media post suggests that Lacuna’s indecisiveness in suspending classes will be raised against her reelection bid, especially given the deluge of criticisms she is getting online from irate students, teachers, and parents.
