DepEd to launches Oplan Balik Eskwela 2024 this July 22
With less than two weeks to go before the official start of school year 2024-2025, the Department of Education (DepEd) is scheduled to launch the annual Oplan Balik Eskwela or OBE this July 22, Monday. It will run until August 2.
According to Deped Order No. 35-2024 signed by DepEd Undersecretary Michael Poa, the OBE “is aprt of the agency’s effort to ensure that learners from public and private schools are properly enrolled.”
Poa added that OBE aims to “address problems, queries, and other concerns commonly encountered by the public at the start of the school year (SY). School year 2024-2025 is set to begin by July 29 for public schools nationwide.
Aside from DepEd, other government agencies are also part of the Oplan Balik Eskwela including the Department of Health, Department of Interior and Local Government, the Philippine National Police, and others.
