GSIS pensioners to receive cash gift starting 6 December 2023
Pensioners of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) will be able to get their Christmas cash gift for 2023 starting December 6, Wednesday.
In a statement posted on social media by GSIS, the cash gift of those who receive their pension during the 1st up to the 15th of each month will be credited by December 1. Meanwhile, those who get their pension during the 16th up to the 30th of each month will receive their cash gift this December 4, Monday.
According to Attorney Sau Mapalo, the spokesperson of SSS, the cash gift is equivalent to the amount received by SSS pensioners each month and is tax exempt.
