#WalangPasok – Class suspensions for October 17 2023 due to transport strike

A growing number of local government executives as well as education institutions have announced class suspensions for 17 October 2023, Tuesday, because of the planned transport strike by various organizations. This stems from their opposition to what they perceive as the government’s plan to phase out public utility jeepneys as well as rising fuel prices.
