#WalangPasok in Angeles City for October 27 2023

Angeles City in Pampanga will be commemorating the annual Feast of Apung Mamacalulu this 27 October 2023. In connection with this, Mayor Carmelo Lazatin, Jr. has announced the suspension of work and classes in all levels as well as work in government offices for the said day. It must be pointed out that Lazatin’s announcement does not cover employees in the private sector.

Government workers and students based in Angeles City are due to have a four-day weekend thanks to this announcement as well as President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.’s declaration that 30 October 2023 would be a special non-working holiday to give way to this year’s Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections.
