#WalangPasok – Class suspensions for October 9 2023

Koronadal City, South Cotabato will be celebrating its 23th Charter Anniversary this October 9, Monday. President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. has declared the said day as a special non-working holiday in the city through Proclamation 354.
The proclamation noted that the event is actually scheduled for October 8 but the local government unit requested that the following Monday be declared a special non-working holiday instead to “enable the people to fully participate in the occassion.”
Meanwhile, Mayor Carmelo Lazatin, Jr. of Angeles City in Pampanga has announced the suspension of work of classes in all levels as well as work in government offices in connection with the Feast of Our Lady of La Naval.

Meanwhile, the following local government units have announced the suspension of face-to-face classes for their respective areas because of air quality concerns caused by volcanic smog from Taal Volcano.
