#WalangPasok – Class suspensions for 3 August 2023 due to monsoon rains
(LAST UPDATE: AUGUST 3, 9:00 AM)
With significant parts of the Philippines continuing to experience inclement weather due to the southwest monsoon or habagat, local government executives have announced class suspensions for their respective constituencies for 3 August 2023, Thursday.
Apart from the persistent torrential rains, many areas especially in Luzon are still recovering from the aftermath of typhoons “Egay” (international name: Doksuri) and “Falcon” (“Khanun’).
The Filipino Scribe will be updating this post if and when new information becomes available.
ALL LEVELS:
Manila
Caloocan
Malabon
Navotas
Pampanga (until August 4)
Angeles City (until August 4)
Dagupan City (until April 4)
UP TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL:

REMINDER TO COLLEGE STUDENTS:
According to the Commission on Higher Education’s Memorandum Order #15 series of 2012, “students who are unable to report to class or participate in scheduled activities such as exams due to inclement weather shall be given consideration and be allowed to make up for the missed class or activity.”
This must be the case especially during instances where the local government executive did not announce suspension of classes.
Dear students,
Kung sobrang lakas ng ulan o baha sa lugar ninyo, keep in mind this provision from CHED Memo #15 (2012). #WalangPasok pic.twitter.com/qa846sU3fu
