The province of Batangas will be celebrating its 436th foundation anniversary this coming Friday, December 8.
It will be a special non-working holiday throughout Batangas as stipulated in President Rodrigo Duterte’s Proclamation 367. This holiday will give Batangueños a three-day weekend.
The foundation anniversary is dubbed “Ala Eh! Festival,” which is derived from the common expression attributed to Batangueños wherever they are.
