Ariana Grande’s Manila concert likely to be canceled
American entertainer Ariana Grande is reportedly suspending her world tour, which potentially includes her scheduled Philippine concert.
This comes after an apparent suicide bomber attacked Manchester Arena in United Kingdom just after she performed there late Monday night (May 22 in London). The attack killed at least 22 people, including children.
Citing sources connected to Grande, entertainment website TMZ reported that she will not be performing in her two-night concert scheduled at the O2 Arena for May 25 and 26.
The report added that the remainder of her European tour on hold. She is scheduled to have shows in Belgium, Poland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, and Italy.
Meanwhile, her concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in the Philippines is set for August 21 following performances in Japan and Thailand.
Grande and her team is yet to release an official statement if and when she will push through with her upcoming concerts, though the singer wrote in a tweet that the terrorist attack left her feeling “broken” and at a loss for words.
