Only one team in PBA history has been able to recover from a 3-1 deficit during a finals series. During the 1991 First Conference, the Ginebra San Miguel squad led by playing coach Robert Jaworski won three consecutive games to defeat Shell Rimula X for the championship. Rudy Distrito’s jumper with only five seconds left in regulation sealed the win for them.
