Masskara festival holiday – October 19 2013

Bacolod City, Negros Occidental will have its annual charter day anniversary this October 19. The famous MassKara Festival is held on the same day. October 19, which this year falls on a Saturday,  is a special non-working public holiday on the said western Visayas city by virtue of Republic Act (RA) 7724. The law was enacted in 1994, during the time of then-President Fidel V. Ramos. Click here to read the full text of RA 7724.
