***The Professional Regulations Commission has released this afternoon the names of the 22,760 passers during the Nurse Licensure Examinations held last December 2011. The Board of Nursing conducted the examinations in various points across the country namely Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, La Union, Legazpi, Lucena, Nueva Ecija, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Meanwhile, here’s the list of the top ten performing schools during the December 2011 exams. To be included in this list, the school has to have at least 50 examinees. It should also have a passing percentage of not lower than 80%.

Congratulations to all the passing nursing students. A special congratulation to Saint Paul University in Iloilo for having yet another class with 100% passing. Good job. Iloilo is another one of our favorite places in Philippines, as we have been there many times.
I am always amazed to see that provincial based schools are actually besting their counterparts in urban areas. No city has a monopoly of brilliant minds.
I agree and no city has a monopoly on excellent teachers. Some of the more unsung heroes among teachers are in the provinces, who chose it as their place to teach. Giving back from where they came.
I agree with you. However, let me point this out. I have serious concerns about the future of these new registered nurses especially as regards to employment.
