Exclusive: Piolo Pascual breaks his silence on break-up with KC

For the first time since actress KC Concepcion’s interview with Boy Abunda, Piolo speaks about the high-profile break-up to address the controversies raised against him. Here’s the transcript of my exclusive interview with him (Disclaimer: Just for laughs!):

MM: Magandang araw, Piolo. Salamat for coming.

PP: My pleasure. Alam mo, nahihirapan na akong magtimpi sa mga intrigang lumalabas, especially on the personal aspects of my life.

MM: Were you able to watch that The Buzz interview with KC?

PP: Actually, no. I was in Japan then. I watched it via YouTube instead.

MM: What was your reaction?

PP: KC was obviously hurt by our split. Hindi naman biro ang pinagdaanan naming dalawa.

MM: Have you spoken to her since the interview?

PP: I tried calling, but I can’t reach her. I hear this ringback tune instead: “Stop calling, stop calling. I don’t want to talk anymore.”

Your reaction?

PP: Nice teaser, KC.

MM: What?!

PP: I mean, karamihan ng babae, naghahanap ng lalaking may abs.

MM: Thanks for clarifying that. Pero ‘di ba may abs ka naman?

PP: Yes! Kaya I really don’t know what else she’s looking for.

We haven’t done that!

MM: Ha?!

PP: I mean, wala naman akong ginawang napaka-unacceptable for her.

MM: Piolo, may third party ba?

PP: Technically, wala, because they’re too many to mention. Kidding aside, I’d rather not say.

Essentially, she thinks you’re taking the matter casually.

PP: I am sorry if that’s her perception.

MM: Piolo, can you tell us the real reason behind your break-up with her?

PP: Mark, as per instructions from Mam Charo (Santos-Concio) and Mam Cory (Vidanes), I decline to answer that question.

MM:  I understand, PJ. But KC also said: “Binigyan ko siya ng second chance, third chance, fourth chance, fifth chance, sixth chance, seventh chance. Pagdating ng eighth chance, parang na-realize ko hindi lahat ng problema nadadaan sa kilig.”

PP: Binibilang pala nya lahat yun? I know it’s too late to apologize, but KC, sorry dahil pinaasa kitang things will change for the better. I tried, but I can’t stop my impulses. Mahirap talaga magpigil.

MM: I know you’ll probably like this. Totoo?

PP: Let me stare at you. Anong nararamdaman mo?

MM: I get your point! Hahaha! Piolo, describe your time together in New York.

PP: Of course, I was happy to be with her, pero talagang nag-iba na. Wala nang spark. Wala na akong maramdaman.

MM: In one of the more emotional moments of the interview, KC said: “Hindi ako ‘yung kailangan niya sa buhay niya. Hindi ako ‘yung hinahanap niya sa buhay niya, at hindi ko maibigay sa kanya ‘yung kailangan niya.”

PP: KC, tama ka, and I realized that belatedly.

PP: I’m not surprised. Everyone says that.

MM: Piolo, maraming nag-react na celebrities sa break-up nyo. I won’t mention all of them. You have any particular comments?

PP: Kay Maricar. I know you still haven’t recovered from your videotaped cowgirl scene with Hayden scandal. Sorry to have you dragged here.

MM: What about to Yul Servo, Sam MIlby, and Mark Bautista?

It’s nice to know that they are always BEHIND me.

MM: To your Mommy Amelia?

PP: Tama naman si Mommy. Hindi kami lumaking mahirap. Si Manny Villar lang ang nagsasabi niyan.

Piolo Pascual, Lolit Solis, and Sam Milby

MM: To your son Inigo?

PP: Daddy’s single again, dear!

MM: Piolo, you have any message to netizens and the media?

Alam ko naman na since our split was the hottest issue at that time, writing about us will give them high site views.

MM: Piolo, diretsahang tanong: are you gay?

PP: I invoke my right against self-discrimination.

MM: As in anti-gay discrimination?

PP: Ay, no. It should be self-incrimination.

MM: What can you say is Piolo’s “predicament”?

PP: Surviving this break-up is not really an issue for me. The bigger concern is if the gay issue will affect my standing as a celebrity and as a commercial endorser.

MM: Do you have a song you’d like to dedicate to KC?

PP: That’s easy. It’s “Don’t Love You No More” by Craig David.

MM: Do you have a message to your fans who are still with you throughout this controversy?

  1. And so retardation is in our midst. Nothing new, really, but nevertheless, I lol’d at his answers. Vague, uncertain, and all out boorish. Good luck with your future retardation.

I’m not on KC’s side, though. I just find it utterly bland that such cases spark so many people’s interests. I myself just read this, because this is your blog Kuya Mark, and, I do not find the issue much of a big deal. I write poems when I break up, not rant about it and cry to a thousand people who are easily manipulated by cheap theatrics and flashy video footage. Again, I lol’d. 🙂

Great job on the interview though, you helped me see the “deeper” aspect of the relationship world of actors and actresses. Big words they don’t know the meaning to, emotions and explanations that are rather vague and drawn out, and most of all, the utter senselessness of the whole situation.

    :))

    1. Hi, Matt! Thank you for reading! You know, writing inane things such as this is part of my mantra of “writing about everything.” Humor is not my turf (that will always be reserved for The Professional Heckler), though I enjoy doing it once in a while. I’ll go back to serious stuff soon. 🙂

PS: Blogs like this is good for site statistics. 😛

Tama lang na he’s not for KC. KC deserves somebody far better than him. Siguro nga gay siya. It’s obvious on how he answered the questions.

Tama lang na he’s not for KC. KC deserves someone far better than him. Siguro nga rin gay siya. The manner he answered the questions were so gayish…. ay tita!!!

  5. I was totally shocked by how rude and insensitive Piolo was. Coming from him, VERY UN-FILIPINO!!!! (considering how be brags about being Pinoy) How can he take things so lightly after breaking someone’s heart into pieces. How disappoingting and disgraceful you are!! Maginoo????? Huh…. Your true color finally surfaced……..

  6. Nevertheless, Candy Crush Saga has a beautifully-animated mobile quality to
it that seems to lure you in like Medusa’s eyes.
Police say methamphetamine has a grasp on people in the community and they will

  7. The Prime Minister said the enthusiasm which had
greeted the torch relay over the last two years has cut the deficit, we have
to question what we mean by growth. No one is condoning
violent action, but just 146, 420 homes were built in the last few weeks recovering from his six-hour coronary by-pass operation.

  8. Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
